Call for Annual Meeting

Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia, NY, announces the Annual Meetings of the Corporation and Congregation to take place via Zoom at 11:30 a.m., on January 31, 2021.  The purpose of the meetings is to review the reports of the various boards and committees of the church, to act on the report of the Nominating Committee, to receive the report of the Church Treasurer, and to act on several changes to the bylaws recommended by Session. There is no need to act on pastor’s terms of call, since the Interim Pastor is hired by the Session and is not called and installed.

Sunday School

Today’s Sunday School lesson is John 1:43-51. It tells the story of Jesus meeting Nathanael and Philip. Jesus tells them to follow him which they do. We are asked to follow Jesus and hopefully with our words and deeds, we do that everyday.

I am wondering why Tom Leone name continues to be on prayer list. When I lived in Cazenovia he was an active member of the staff and was so helpful…I have continued to pray of course, however I would like more info if possible. Alice Weber
