This week in Sunday School we learned about Ash Wednesday and Lent. We talked about how some people give something up, while others do something for special for Lent. Then we made desserts for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse. Making meals for Ronald McDonald House is part of our church outreach.

This year, we will be making the new Presbyterian Outlook Lenten devotional, Discipleship in a Divided Age: A Lenten Journey through Matthews Gospel, available to you for your personal use! Today the Sunday school learned about God telling the disciples on top of the mountain "This is my Son, who I love, and with whom I am well pleased." So, we made "Mountains of dirt!" 😅 They were delicious!
